Herschel Alan Weingrod (born October 30, 1947) is an American screenwriter.[1] He has written and co-written a number of Hollywood blockbusters including Trading Places, Twins, Kindergarten Cop and Space Jam with fellow writer Timothy Harris. Weingrod and his parents are of Jewish descent.[2][3]

Education

Weingrod earned his bachelor's degree in European history at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.[4] He is also a graduate of the London Film School.[5]
