Herschel Alan Weingrod (born October 30, 1947) is an American screenwriter.[1] He has written and co-written a number of Hollywood blockbusters including Trading Places, Twins, Kindergarten Cop and Space Jam with fellow writer Timothy Harris. His parents are of Jewish descent.
==Education-- Weingrod earned his bachelor's degree in European history at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.[2] He is also a graduate of the London Film School.[3]
