Greysia Polii (born Jakarta, DKI Jakarta; 11 August 1987) is a female badminton player from Indonesia. Her nick name is Grace(宽限期)
Career
In 2007 Polii won women's doubles at the Indonesian National Championships with Jo Novita. They were women's doubles silver medalists at both the 2005 and 2007 Southeast Asian Games. Polii was a member of Indonesian Sudirman Cup teams that finished second to China in 2005 and 2007.At Quarter finalSingapore Open Greysia Polii beat The World No. 1 Wong Pei Tty / Chin Eei Hui from Malaysia and beat The World No. 9 Lena Frier Kristiansen / Kamilla Rytter Juhl from Denmark in Semi final. In French Open 2009, Greysia Polii / Nitya Krishinda Maheswari can go to Semifinal, because can beat Wong Pei Tty/Chin Eei Hui from Malaysia in Quarterfinal, And Kamilla Rytter Juhl/Lena Frier Kristiansen from Denmark, Before defeated by Chinese Ma Jin / Wang Xiaoli from China with 2 set 21-4, 21-18. In December 2009, Greysia Polii / Nitya Krishinda can't get the gold for Indonesia in SEA Games 2009 in Vientiane, Laos. Because defeated by young Thailand's women doubles Savitree Amitrapai / Munkit Vacharaporn.
