She has a gothicesque style of dress — black dress, purple/pink leggings, grey sleeves, purple hair, and skull necklace, although Jhonen Vasquez claims she is just a normal kid and the clothing comes from his own style. On Invader Zim, most of the characters, other than Gaz's brother Dib, are unaware of the very obvious fact that Zim is really an alien bent on world domination; however, Gaz is an exception. In the episode "Gaz, Taster of Pork" she acknowledges Zim's extraterrestrial nature. However, unlike her brother, she is aware that Zim is not as big a threat as he and Dib think. In "Bloaty's Pizza Hog", she counters Dib's claim that Zim is trying to take over the world with the pithy yet accurate phrase: "But he's so bad at it."
