Eliminator is the eighth studio album by American blues-rock band ZZ Top, released in 1983 (see 1983 in music). It was the band's most successful album, having reached Diamond status. The album is a successful blend of blues rock and analog synthesizers. In 1989, it was ranked #39 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 100 greatest albums of the 1980s. Template:RS500
