That's not how Wikipedia works. If you feel that strongly about it, start an RFC. As for now however, the genre is still reliably sourced. undo Tags: Undo Reverted

You disagree with that, but you can't go ahead and discredit other people's work like that when they are a reliable source when Metal Hammer is very respected by UK rock magazine readers. undo Tags: Manual revert Reverted

If the song is LITERALLY not that genre, that's on the credibility of the source. In this case, it shows the source is not reliable. Also, Butterfly isn't nu metal either, so someone needs to change that as well undo Tag: Reverted

For example, critics consider "Butterfly" by Crazy Town as a "nu metal power ballad." Reliable sources are reliable. The timeframe of when they released this sort of music is generalised but they specifically chose "Drive" for their list instead of "Pardon Me" for example. Please don't discredit sources and remove them. undo Tags: Undo Reverted
  • curprev 22:3922:39, 8 May 2022SlamDunk1997 talk contribs 13,653 bytes −251 It's been explained by previous editors. It's ridiculous to call this song nu metal and it's just misleading readers. How the hell a soft acoustic ballad can be a nu metal song, lol? In this case journalists DON'T KNOW what they're talking about and refer to Drive as a nu metal song because Incubus were a nu metal band when the song was released... First off, the source comes from Metal Hammer and not Loudwire which begs the question that you didn't even read the article in the first place. Secondly the inclusion is "wrong" because you disagree with it. This is literally WP:Genre Warrior and is not allowed. It's not up to whether we agree or disagree with sources or not, journalists know what they are talking about. undo Tag: Reverted

This is the case when we should listen to the common sense instead of source, because it's wrong. Loudwire called Drive nu metal because Incubus used to play nu metal when it was released. It's soft acoustic ballad and not even metal undo Tag: references removed
