Melbourne Institute of Business and Technology (MIBT) was established in September 1996 to provide access to post secondary education for both Australian and International students who do not qualify for direct entry into university or who want to do a fast track(8months) course rather than a university long course(12months) , but who, in the right circumstances, have the capacity and motivation to complete a degree program.Many international are from mainly china,sri lanka,indonesia.
If achieve 50% of the course a guaranteed full paying place is available at Deakin University.The recognised certificate is accepted widely in other educational providers. MIBT is a privately owned company with a Board of Directors. The Institute is registered with the Victorian Department of Education, Employment and Training as a Registered Training Organisation.
