Coronials are a future demographic cohort, a potential subset of Generation Z or Generation Alpha, conceived in the wake of the 2019-20 coronavirus pandemic. Similarly to Population Growth following the initial decline in population due to natural disasters or war, such as Second World War baby boomers, Coronials are expected to be conceived in one of two situations: increased sexual activity between self-isolated or locked-down couples; population growth following the demise of the infection. As a result, the first Coronials are expected to be born in late 2020.

The name, Coronials, is derived from the Coronavirus and its affiliated pandemic, and the demographic group, Millennials.
