The xian of Bayan (巴彦县 ; pinyin : Bāyàn Xiàn) is an administrative subdivision of the province of Heilongjiang, China. It is under the jurisdiction of the prefecture-level city of Harbin.

The population of the district was 677,955 in 1999[1].
