Annie Wan is an international media artist. Wan's work examines the relationship between the material and the immaterial and also between herself and her surroundings. Her art also explores the identity of a place by using locative media. Wan is currently an Assistant Professor in the School of Communication, Academy of Film at Hong Kong Baptist University.[1]
Early life
She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Media in the City University of Hong Kong, and her Master's Degree of Science in Applied Information Technology, in Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden. In 2012 she earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Digital Arts and Experimental Media at the University of Washington.[2]
