Abdullah al-Harari (1910 – September 2, 2008) was a scholar of Islamic jurisprudence who lived and taught in Beirut, Lebanon. He was born in Harar, Ethiopia. He started the Ahbash or Habashi movement, also known as the Association of Islamic Charitable Projects (AICP).[1] Al-Harari was one of the Ulama signatories of the Amman Message, which gives a broad foundation for defining Muslim orthodoxy.[2] Al-Harari was also a professor at Al-Azhar University Lebanese branch.[3]

He died of natural causes on September 2, 2008, aged 98.[1]
