Aalborg Boldspilklub A/S (or AaB A/S for short) is a Danish company listed on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange. AaB A/S is a Aalborg based company in sports, conference, events, education and sportswear in Aalborg and Denmark. Aalborg Boldspilklub A/S is founded July 1, 1987.

Company divisions

AaB A/S has seven different divisions, within the activities football, handball, ice hockey, basketball, conference, college and sportswear.

They are the following:

  • AaB Fodbold A/S the major division, they focus at the football team Aalborg BK (football).
  • AaB Håndbold A/S they focus at the handball team AaB Håndbold.
  • AaB Ishockey A/S they focus at the ice hockey team AaB Ishockey.
  • AaB Basket A/S is a former basketball team, it is phasing out.
  • AaB Konference A/S is a conference and event arranger.
  • AaB College A/S is a sports college based in Aalborg.
  • Sport Nord A/S is the owner of the Sportmaster sportswear chain.

Management

AaB A/S is headed by managing director Poul Henning Sørensen and seven board members with Finn V. Nielsen as chairman of the board. Each department has its own division director.

Share holders
