Not done. See the box at the top of this page; you don't need confirmation to contribute images. Also read WP:COI. You should not be editing an article about yourself either. Please propose any changes you want to make on the article's talk page. ~Amatulić (talk) 00:09, 1 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Not done - If the file you want to upload is available under a free license, it should be uploaded to our free media repository, the Commons. You do not need any special permissions to upload there, and you can use the same username and password you use here. If it is not available under a free license, it should be requested using the Files for Upload process, which does not require any special permissions. the panda ɛˢˡ” 10:53, 1 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I previously had requested permissions to access semi protected pages so I could add research material to either the Colosseum page or the gladiator page, but my permissions were revoked even though I had not used them. I would like to request that I be granted them again so I can complete my work. Thanks, Alec Leven Alec leven (talk) 14:09, 1 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Not done - Hi, and thank you for creating an account to edit Wikipedia. Although I fully understand your desire to dive right in, many of our articles are semi-protected because they are controversial, prone to vandalism, or other reasons. As a new editor with few edits, it might be wise to discuss your edits on the article talkpage in order to gain consensus for your edits, and then use {{Edit semi-protected}} to request the edit be performed. I only recommend this until you're used to the challenges of reliable sources, the biographies of living persons policy, and other similar policies. The good news is that fewer than 5% of Wikipedia articles are protected; this means that 95% of the articles can use your help right now! BTW the permission was never granted to you, and you also just need eight more edits to become autoconfirmed. Armbrust The Homunculus 15:48, 1 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately I will not have any use for editing past today as correcting and adding material to the gladiatorial or Colosseum page is part of an extra credit project for my university that happens to be due tomorrow. I am fully aware of biographies such as the "Annals of Tacitus" and other sources from credible researchers, I wrote a research paper on the Colosseum so my research is not just folly. Thanks anyways — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.207.211.17 (talk) 16:03, 1 May 2014‎
You say you had permissions revoked in the past, but I don't see how this is possible since your account only has two edits in it. Please explain.
If you propose a change on the article talk pages (preface your proposal with the {{edit semiprotected}} tag), will that be sufficient for you? You can drop me a note and I'll look at your proposed changes and incorporate them for you if you want. ~Amatulić (talk) 16:39, 1 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hello I would like to get my account confirmed. I have recently updated the account and not able to confirm the account. Could you please confirm my account or provide me the option about how to confirm my account. Your help is appriciated in advance. Thanks Ashish7t9 (talk) 15:58, 1 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Not done. You have given no valid reason why you can't accumulate 10 edits and have your account exist for four days. That's all you need to be confirmed. ~Amatulić (talk) 16:33, 1 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

My reason for requesting a confirmed account instead of waiting the four days and 10 edits is I must edit/comment on an entry on the HIV wiki page for a class project. Unfortunately, my professor did not indicate that wikipedia has certain requirements for accounts and for posting on pages. I am pretty much at your mercy because I created this account today and the project is due Monday 5 May @ 0900. Thank you in advance for any assistance you may offer.
