I only recommend this until you're used to the challenges of reliable sources, the biographies of living persons policy, and other similar policies. The good news is that fewer than 5% of Wikipedia articles are protected; this means that 95% of the articles can use your help right now! Unfortunately I will not have any use for editing past today as correcting and adding material to the gladiatorial or Colosseum page is part of an extra credit project for my university that happens to be due tomorrow. I am fully aware of biographies such as the "Annals of Tacitus" and other sources from credible researchers, I wrote a research paper on the Colosseum so my research is not just folly. My reason for requesting a confirmed account instead of waiting the four days and 10 edits is I must edit/comment on an entry on the HIV wiki page for a class project. Unfortunately, my professor did not indicate that wikipedia has certain requirements for accounts and for posting on pages.
