Before making a request here, you should be aware that your account only needs to exist for four days and make ten edits and it will be automatically confirmed. Since the bar for automatic confirmation is deliberately quite low the vast majority of requests here are denied. Unless you are requesting confirmation for a legitimate alternate account your request will almost certainly be denied. Alternatives are presented below:
Are you here to solely upload an image? Please make a request at Files for upload for non-free images or use the same username and password you have here to upload free images at Wikimedia Commons.
Are you here because you want to edit a page, but the page is protected from editing? With no track record for your account there is no basis for knowing if we should confirm you early. 95% of Wikipedia articles are not protected, so you can dive right into those or use {{edit protected}} to request edits on the article's talk page
Comment: So far you've put inappropriate, identifying information on your userpage (indeed, spent far too much time editing that page), removed a list of AFD dates from the talkpage of an article, improperly and incorrectly tried to redirect some pages, and tried to create a poorly-functional template. Unfortunately, you have a lot of learning to do before you're even autoconfirmed. ES&L 08:55, 17 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Not done - Hi, and thank you for creating an account to edit Wikipedia. Although I fully understand your desire to dive right in, many of our articles are semi-protected because they are controversial, prone to vandalism, or other reasons. As a new editor with few edits, it might be wise to discuss your edits on the article talkpage in order to gain consensus for your edits, and then use {{Edit semi-protected}} to request the edit be performed. I only recommend this until you're used to the challenges of reliable sources, the biographies of living persons policy, and other similar policies. The good news is that fewer than 5% of Wikipedia articles are protected; this means that 95% of the articles can use your help right now! GBfan 11:57, 17 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I'm a New user, TV personality asked me create a profile for him, trying to get it done ASAP. Justinj28 (talk) 23:28, 17 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Not done For two reasons: (1) you don't need confirmed permission to create articles, and (2) you will become autoconfirmed in 35 minutes and after you make another one edit. ArmbrustThe Homunculus 01:02, 18 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I want to add a picture for a music group, I got email permission from the artist that did the picture. Since I have permission from the artist, I would like to be able to directly import the picture with the music group. Thanks Patthe (talk) 00:24, 18 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I would like to be confirmed due to uploading images. I want to upload images to certain articles that way I can show people what the thing spoken of looks like! TheGopster (talk) 16:51, 18 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Not done - If the file you want to upload is available under a free license, it should be uploaded to our free media repository, the Commons. You do not need any special permissions to upload there, and you can use the same username and password you use here. If it is not available under a free license, it should be requested using the Files for Upload process, which does not require any special permissions.
