Not done - If the file you want to upload is available under a free license, it should be uploaded to our free media repository, the Commons. You do not need any special permissions to upload there, and you can use the same username and password you use here. If it is not available under a free license, it should be requested using the Files for Upload process, which does not require any special permissions. Hello there, I have recently done some major reconstruction in an poorly written and organized article, Toontown Online, however, unfortunately, due to some persistent vandalism from other users, it was changed to semi-protected. Another user, (CaptainKelvin) (talk), however did do some major content removal before that happened. We have now settled and come to an agreement to what should and should not be included. Nevertheless, we cannot edit the article anymore, and one of us would like to be confirmed. We are also continuing to improve the article to raise its status, which is why we will find it tedious and unproductive to request for every edit we find. CaptainKelvin, another unregistered user and I have already addressed, with each other, more minor mistakes we have found and need editing. Additionally, we are very knowledgeable in this topic which is why we are interested in working together, to improving its article in Wikipedia. I also would have already far passed the needed edits to become confirmed if I had made separate edits, however, instead I took the article and worked on it over a time span of several days before submitting it. Thank you, NightHawkCanada (talk) 05:23, 19 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Not done - Hi, and thank you for creating an account to edit Wikipedia. Although I fully understand your desire to dive right in, many of our articles are semi-protected because they are controversial, prone to vandalism, or other reasons. As a new editor with few edits, it might be wise to discuss your edits on the article talkpage in order to gain consensus for your edits, and then use {{Edit semi-protected}} to request the edit be performed. I only recommend this until you're used to the challenges of reliable sources, the biographies of living persons policy, and other similar policies. The good news is that fewer than 5% of Wikipedia articles are protected; this means that 95% of the articles can use your help right now!. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 07:45, 19 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Not done. Sorry, but the last thing we want is for people to come here and use Wikipedia for promotional purposes. In fact, it can get them blocked. Please see Wikipedia:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide, and consider sticking to social networking sites or create a proper web site for your band. The answer that you posted (again) is not useful as that Wikipedia page won't upload "copyrighted" images when going through the wizard. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Castelc (talk • contribs) 21:19, 20 November 2013‎
That wizard creates a section at Files for Upload, which will be reviewed by a volunteer. Nobody said it will enable you to upload images. If you absolutely want to upload the image yourself, than you need to make six more edits. Armbrust The Homunculus 21:38, 20 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The "Earth" article contains a run-on sentence as the first sentence in the article. This would normally not be so large of a deal save for the fact that Google has used this to describe Earth. This grammatical error has hence been broadcast to millions of Google users, embarrassing both Wikipedia and Google.
