Autopatrolled

User:Farhikht

I'm a responsible user with reviewer and rollbacker rights. I am one of few users who typically create Iran-related articles. Note that I have an old account which I created in 2007 but currently I don't use it due to privacy problems. I created 46 articles with that account and with this one I've created 22. I have still access to the old one and I can confirm it by email to admins if necessary. Farhikht (talk) 08:22, 23 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I am a responsible, experienced user with 52 articles created, 6 DYKs, and 1 GA. I also hold rollback and reviewer rights. 069952497aComments and complaintsStuff I've done 00:37, 28 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I previously had this right with my old account (User:WVRMad), but after a long wikibreak I lost my password and had to create a new account. Although I have not used this account much yet, I intend to return to regular editing during my school holiday, which has just begun. Due to the nature of my editing, I often create articles on railway lines and stations. I created 43 articles with my previous account and have already created one article using this account. As evidence of my ownership of User:WVRMad, I still have the password for my alternate account, WVRMad2, which I created on 14:52, 17 July 2009 and referred to with WVRMad in this edit. WVRMad2 (talk) 17:57, 2 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have created 53 articles and am a reviewer and rollbacker. Since I created my account in 2005, I have made over 28,000 article edits and am currently ranked 16th on the anti-vandalism Stiki leaderboard. I'm requesting Autopatrol now because I am filling in all of the redlinks on List of U.S. state soils and want to save patroller time. Andrew327 15:08, 3 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Question: have you checked all your creations to see if they are all perfectly referenced, not tagged for any maintenance issues, cats added, stub tags added where approriate, and that naked URLs have been converted? Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 17:05, 6 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
It's been a few years since I created several of the articles, but when I am not on a mobile browser, I will review all of the articles that I created then post again here. Andrew327 21:56, 6 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I just went through every article to make sure they still conform to Wikipedia standards. Every one of them has multiple reliable sources, accurate categories, a quality rating, and, where appropriate, a content-specific stub tag. There are no maintenance tags or naked URLs. I have created 65 articles and 20 templates till now, excluding disamb pages and redirects. It would be nice to have this privilage. - Vivvt (Talk) 18:44, 4 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • As of now and as far as I know, none of the articles created by me have been tagged by any maintenance tags. Seven articles appeared on the main page under DYK and one is GA. Please let me know if anything needs to be cleaned up before I get the rights, obviously if I am eligible. - Vivvt (Talk) 23:26, 6 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Done. Note that there is a redlink in ref #17 in Manhunt: The Search for Bin Laden. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 02:51, 7 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Gosh! I am definitely seeing something or somewhere else. I am unable to find the redlink you are talking about at #17. Can you please help me to correct that? - Vivvt (Talk) 03:48, 7 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I can't find it now either. Don't worry about it. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 06:44, 8 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I make lots of articles and redirects, so I think this would save some wikienergy. My articles generally have fully cited sourcing and stub sort (only unless someone has built from redirect into article), and my redirects have redirect categories. Thanks czar · · 21:30, 6 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Preemptive notice: my articles from 2006 need cleanup and are nothing like my last 50+ articles. Also any recent and unsourced articles have been expanded from a redirect, since I source all of my edits. czar · · 03:15, 7 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

(edit conflict): Not done. Note that something being available as a download (Amazon) does not contribute to notability. List of video game exclusives (eighth generation) is incomplete and could eventually be a cadidate for a deletion process. Blogs are also not considered as a reliable source - even more so when they are the only source.e for one of the deletion processes. Flashback (2013 video game) is tagged for merging. Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara is tagged for sources and is very incomplete. I have tagged Armikrog, Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara, and Die Gute Fabrik myself. I question the merits of producing short stubs on video games that have not yet been released, and where the only reference is to a statement of upcoming release. Perhaps the Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games can help you out on this. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 03:17, 7 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I was previously aware of those things. Armikrog and D&D were expanded from my redirects—should I convert them back to redirects when other editors are expanding them? DGF was made yesterday—I'm expanding it. The Flashback merge discussion is awaiting close. I make very few stubs. The other articles are 24 DYKs and a GA, if you can take a second look. czar · · 03:36, 7 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Don't revert anything unless it's content that must be reverted. The community is divided on whether or not editors should keep their creations on their watchlists and continue to maintain them, but I believe it's a good idea to do so. As 'autopatrolled' is not a user right per se, I would prefer to wait a while, see you creating a few more substantial articles, and then applying for 'autopatrolled' again.
