Reason for requesting confirmed rights ~

Firstly, I haven't just joined Wiki today, and I'm not just requesting this as a 'shortcut' as is suggested at the top of this page. Also, as for 'ten edits', I use Wikipedia all of the time, and only edit when I can improve a page through personal knowledge.

I wish to change a picture on one of the Wikipedia pages, or at least add another, as the picture that is present is both inappropriate and incongruous.

I am Patrick Timms, ICT Manager at Middlewich High School (www.middlewichhigh.cheshire.sch.uk) and we are presently generating and revamping our online presence. Accordingly, I will be creating/modifying Facebook, Twitter and Wikipedia entries for the school. Please advise as to appropriate verification steps to establish this account as the approved maintainer for the Middlewich High School Wikipedia entry. •  Not done Please read WP:COI, and review our username policy carefully before proceeding. There is no such thing as an "approved maintainer" for that article - and the school most certainly can never be in charge of its editorial content. Unlike Twitter and Facebook where the owner has control, Wikipedia is an encyclopedia that runs on WP:CONSENSUS. Those with COI may make emergency corrections to the article, but otherwise should be proposing changes on the article talkpage. Remember that any addition must be sourced to third party reliable sources that are independent of the school. Please go the links I provided here, and on your user talkpage, and good luck!
