I wish for my account to be confirmed so I can upload an image for Aleksandar Tonev. It has no copyright whatsoever.

  •  Question: What do you mean "no copyright whatsoever"? Every image has some form of copyright - do you just not know what the exact copyright is? Where does the image come from? (✉→BWilkins←✎) 09:28, 8 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
(Non-administrator comment) He most likely means "Free Domain". jamcat22 06:35, 11 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to contribute to the Wikipedia:WikiProject National Register of Historic Places by uploading photos I have personally shot for the Paul Cuffe Farm, and other sites I visited to help fully illustrate the pages that need it. Cortikal (talk) 03:49, 9 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Not done - Hi, and thank you for creating an account to edit Wikipedia. Although I fully understand your desire to dive right in, many of our articles are semi-protected because they are controversial, prone to vandalism, or other reasons. As a new editor with few edits, it might be wise to discuss your edits on the article talkpage in order to gain consensus for your edits, and then use {{Edit semi-protected}} to request the edit be performed. I only recommend this until you're used to the challenges of reliable sources, the biographies of living persons policy, and other similar policies. The good news is that fewer than 5% of Wikipedia articles are protected; this means that 95% of the articles can use your help right now! (✉→BWilkins←✎) 09:02, 11 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to be confirmed to upload a historical article and information that is generally not known neither can be found on internet or anywhere else for that matter concerning the original inventor of the automatic mechanical changing gearbox and centifugal clutch for motor vehiches with forward and reverse gears that revolutionised the production of automatic motor vehicles in the worlds motor vehicle industry. The inventor was an Australian and my father who in 1946 registered patents in Australia, Great Britain, United States, Canada and France. He was also provided with Letters of Introduction by the Commonwealth of Australia to visit those countries to market his design to the major motor vehicle manufacturers of the time. In support of the article I have the copies and details of the patents registered in each of the countries listed and copies of the C of A Letters of Introduction which will also be uploaded. I feel this is historical information that should be available to anybody who may have an interest in the history of automation in the motor vehicle industry.

I note that there is an article about Automatic Transmission on your site. This article references early inventions such as transmissions driven by belts or steam. These designs were not suitable for a commercial marketplace. The article goes on to say that General Motors designed the mechanical gearbox in 1933. This segment of the article is incorrect and demonstrates the lack of information available on the design of the automatic transmission and centrifugal clutch. Though I am aware that this article may be edited I would also like to submit a fresh article specific to the design of the Mechanical Changing Gearbox.

To whom this may concern, I am an employee of the CRTC working working in the communications department and we are in process of updating information to the CRTC's Wikipedia page. I have just registered a new account and would like permission to bypass the four day and ten edits requirement so as to make these changes. Thank you. Crtc01 (talk) 17:40, 10 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • no Declined. You have a conflict of interest, therefore you should not be making any substantive changes to the article. Please study the guideline Wikipedia:Conflict of interest carefully. Then do not edit the article yourself, but rather propose changes to the talk page. Use an {{editrequest}} tag to attract attention. ~Amatulić (talk) 22:10, 10 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
