Hello, I am a huge MMA fan, and would like to help the MMA Community here on Wikipedia with keeping the MMA Pages up to date. I would like to request the 'confirmed' status, because I want to add something to the MMA Event template. I can't do this right now, because Wikipedia tells me I don't have the confirmed status yet. The thing I would like to add the the MMA Event template is the parameter ' SiMntjMMA 14:22, 12 August 2012 (UTC)

Hello, As a new Wikipedia Editor- My Primary reason here, is to edit and maintain the article "Swaminarayan". Being a follower of Swaminarayan, who is a Hindu God- I currently maintain the article to prevent vandalism, sharing of incorrect information, and bad things, that are meaningless to do. Swaminarayan- has 2 different parts to it- BAPS, and Swaminarayan Sampraday- which are groups that follow the Swaminarayan god, but have different beliefs- spiritually. As I am rewriting this article shorter, I am not attaching the History of Swaminarayan Article Edits, but feel free to look at it for proof.

These 2 groups often, fight and I've seen on Wikipedia, that they are corrupting the Swaminarayan Article- by sharing incorrect information. As Wikipedia is a great site with so many visitors daily- I do not want some visitors to get the wrong information about Swaminarayan, and I especially don't want to see the visitors get incorrect information due to these 2 groups fighting. Due to this, I would like the Swaminarayan Article to be Semi-Locked. I am completely aware- that Wikipedia is a place where knowledge- can be shared by everyone who has it, but this knowledge should definetly not be wrong/incorrect knowledge. Therefore I request you as a respected Wikipedia Admin, to Semi-Lock the article Swaminarayan, so that incorrect information is not shared within it, and the article is not vandalized. There have been mild vandalism the past week, which I have undid. Also, as Swaminarayan is a god of the past, there are no new information to add in the article, as everything in the article is from the past, and we have acquired all information, and posted it- with 0 missing.

The main thought in your head right now, is why do these 2 organizations want to corrupt Swaminarayan Article? Well since these 2 organizations have different beliefs, they want to make sure they get their beliefs, and their temple name, on Wikipedia, so people go to their temple and pay them money, and this is a very bad offense. If more people outside of the Swaminarayan Faith, like you understand this happening, you would rush to lock the article immediately, but not everyone is a follower of Swaminarayan, since there are other gods, and in this case, you may/may not have a clue what or who Swaminarayan is.

Again I'd like to point out, that I am not here to stop the good editing on Wikipedia, by locking a page, but I am here to stop the corruption, meaning- the BAD editing, that is going on in the page Swaminarayan. Swaminarayan, is currently a good article, and with all these vandalism, no one can tell the fact about how its a good article.

Think about it, if all the articles on Wikipedia were wrong, who would visit this website? Noone would, due to its delivery of wrong/bad information. Again, I want to go to the fact, that Wikipedia gets hundreds/thousands of visitors per day, I and you are also a visitor, now think about it, If the Swaminarayan Article, gets only 50 visitors per day, well if someone edited something bad in, wouldnt those 50 visitors be stuck with the wrong information? Vandalism in the Swaminarayan article needs to be stopped! Swaminarayan is my god, and you may/may not have a different god, but if someone is spreading false rumors about your god, will you like it? If you dont have a god, if someone is spreading rumors about you, will you like it? In this case its Wikipedia, meaning people, strangers you dont know, all around the world.

If you havent/dont know much information about my god Swaminarayan, feel free to read the Article, but I Am letting you know, we are ready to do things impossible for our God. Once agan, I plea to get this article semi-locked, because I dont want vandalisms to take over this article, and thats what it simply is, I am not here to stop the editing on wikipedia, but I want to make this site, better, get its name out there, so Wikipedia, can reach the world, and spread knowledge everywhere.

Thank You Very Much for your understanding and Cooperation in helping me with this issue. I extremely appreciate your help, in reading this request, as it is long but informative than the average one.

I want my company to be able to upload the solution we provide on this page because there are two of our competitors currently featured on the existing wikipedia page. This is not fair as there are more than just the 2 companies listed providing their solutions to the market for electronic on-board recorders. Can you please confirm my account so I can put up information.
