Hi. By running into a wall of unexpected copyright violations and quality issues in articles I monitor, I have become aware of and started to help out in the cleanup efforts required as the result of the ongoing Wikipedia:India Education Program (a great idea in general, but ill-advised, and now mostly out of control, unfortunately), where uncountable edits of close to thousand students participating in the program have to be carefully evaluated for plagiarism and copyright violations that have been (and still are) added to articles. This process, taken seriously, is a time-sink, and it occured to me, that it might be helpful to be able to rollback more than one edit at a time, where necessary. The time I can dedicate to WP is limited, so I'd like to spend it as effective as possible. By inner nature, I assume good faith in other people and believe in adding contents and improving the quality even of initially poor edits instead of simply reverting stuff, but we obviously can't do the students' homework (at least not on this scale) or tolerate copyvios here. Having said this, I still cannot see myself ever rolling back stuff without careful prior evaluation and some sort of "damage recovery plan". I've been doing recent changes patrol on and off for a while with WPCVN and Twinkle, and I want to use Igloo, which will be faster to use (eg. doesn't open a new tab for each page). I've found the amount of time it takes to open a new tab and load an entire, often large, article unnecessary to correct most vandalism. - ProtoFire^→talk 20:24, 4 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
