Now, I don't want to canvass votes, so please only vote if you would likely have done so anyway, but just to let everyone here know, File:Portland, Oregon, in 1898 - Herbert A. Hale.jpg is up at featured pictures, and looks very likely to pass (it's already at quorum). Used in a number of Portland-related articles; photographer doesn't appear to have an article, though I suspect he could if people wanted to dig into enough non-online sources. There's a lot of holiday-related programming at the square, but I am trying to keep this entry specific to the tree and affiliated festivities, such as the tree arrival parades and lighting ceremonies. There's an ongoing disagreement over at Talk:Music_Millennium about an expansion of the article, which includes information about a bizarre protest/publicity stunt against Garth Brooks at the store and its role in the eventual formation of Record Store Day.
