Legality of Delta 8[edit]

Did you all see this? DEA considers Delta 8 illegal when synthesized from CBD. AFAIK, that is how most Delta 8 products are made. What articles need to be updated? Esb5415 (talk) 12:51, 15 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I would probably wait until some kind of formal policy is released, which the article says the DEA is working on. Right now all that we have is an internal email that was unearthed. Delta-8-Tetrahydrocannabinol would of course need to be updated, and off the top of my head there is a sentence in Legality of cannabis by U.S. jurisdiction that would need to be edited.--Jamesy0627144 (talk) 20:36, 18 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

CBD move proposal[edit]

There is a proposal to move CBD to CBD (disambiguation) in order to have CBD redirect to Cannabidiol. If you have an opinion on this, please share it at Talk:CBD#Requested move 16 August 2023. Nosferattus (talk) 14:51, 16 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Martha Stewart cannabis non-hoax[edit]

I was going to start writing up a new cannabis hoax, that Martha Stewart is developing a cannabis brand. Turns out it might not be so far fetched. Here's an AP story; there are others including The Atlantic and Washington Post. This doesn't appear to be covered in the bio article at this time. ☆ Bri (talk) 22:08, 29 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

German legalization likely[edit]

I updated German cannabis control bill with recent developments, including a vote next week on the legalization bill. ☆ Bri (talk) 19:57, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The final Bundestag vote on national legalization is scheduled for tomorrow. ☆ Bri (talk) 22:23, 22 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It passed. The Legality of cannabis article has been updated and I also updated the two maps, since I'm pretty sure it's final with nothing else required like the president signing it or another legislative body passing it. Hopefully I'm right about that.--Jamesy0627144 (talk) 21:48, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Not fullly up to speed on German system either, there was some discussion of German Bundesrat opposition earlier, but I think it has become moot somehow or other. ☆ Bri (talk) 22:07, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

There is a requested move discussion at Talk:Cannabis and sex/Archives/2024#Requested move 5 January 2024 that may be of interest to members of this WikiProject. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 18:19, 5 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

CBD Vaping[edit]

Hello. Just wondering if y'all think there is enough literature out there on CBD e-cigarattes to warrant its own page. CBD vapes are mentioned only incidentally on Electronic cigarette (which isn't even tagged with this WikiProject), and there is also a page on CBD cigarettes. Perhaps this can be a project for the 420 Collaboration if so. //Lollipoplollipoplollipop::talk 00:50, 31 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
