WSHE-FM (100.3 FM, "100.3 WSHE") is a radio station licensed in Chicago, Illinois. The station is currently owned by Hubbard Broadcasting,^[2] The station is also broadcast on HD radio.^[3] It is currently broadcasting an adult contemporary format but has had a number of owners and utilized a variety of call letters and broadcast a variety of formats since its original incarnation in 1947 as WFMF. Its studios are located at One Prudential Plaza and transmitter facilities atop the John Hancock Center in Downtown Chicago .

100.3 FM started as WFMF in 1947, carrying a full service format. It later shifted to beautiful music in the 1960s, then to easy listening by 1974 as WLOO, "FM 100." This would later change to "EZ 100" with the call letters WXEZ.

In 1990, the station shifted to Hot AC, branded as "100.3 The Point" with call letters WPNT. By 1994, the station changed monikers to "FM 100", and then "100.3, Chicago's FM 100." By 1997, the station changed monikers again, this time to simply "Chicago's 100.3."

Due to the merger of Evergreen Media and Chancellor Media, WPNT was spun-off to Bonneville Communications in mid-1997. Because WPNT had format similarities to new sister WTMX, WPNT flipped to adult contemporary as "Windy 100" on October 1, 1997 under the new call letters WNND. The station competed effectively against WLIT, even topping them in a few ratings periods. However, due to a disastrous dip into a soft AC format in 2001, WLIT regained the lead as the "at-work" station in the market. To make up for lost audience share, WNND shifted to a 80s/90s hits format in December 2002.

At 7 AM on November 7, 2004, WNND flipped to Rhythmic AC, branded as "100.3 Love FM" under new call letters WILV. By January 2006, WILV shifted to rhythmic oldies, again under the "Love FM" moniker.

By 2008, the station shifted back to adult contemporary while retaining the "Love FM" moniker until 2009, when it returned to the "Chicago's 100.3" moniker. On June 7, 2010, at 1 PM, WILV flipped to 80s hits as "Rewind 100.3." ^[4]Over the next few years, WILV would add 90s music into the playlist. By early 2013, the station would add 2000s, current and recurrent music, and on December 1 of that year, WILV would rebrand a third time to the "Chicago's 100.3" moniker, and return to a full-blown adult contemporary format.

Bonneville announced the sale of WILV, as well as 16 other stations, to Hubbard Broadcasting on January 19, 2011.^[5] The sale was completed on April 29, 2011.^[6]

On March 2, 2015, WILV relaunched under new WSHE-FM call letters.^[7] The on air line-up remained the same as WILV, continuing with Brian Peck hosting mornings, Lisa Kosty in middays, Cara Carriveau in afternoons and Robb Rose on evenings. Musically, the station now focuses on current, upbeat music.
