This article is about the meteorological phenomenon. For the method of seeing weather radar projections on a map, see Weather radar#Radar Integrated Display with Geospatial Elements. For other uses, see Ridge (disambiguation).

A ridge is an elongated region of relatively high atmospheric pressure, the opposite of a trough.

In hydrologic terms, a line or wall of broken ice forced up by pressure. May be fresh or weathered.[1]
