Adventure science fiction or sci-fi adventure is a subgenre of science fiction that covers tense and rousing stories involving aliens, robots, the future or other science fiction elements.^{[citation needed]}

Examples include the film Stargate (1994) and its television series, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008), and the comic book Atomic Robo.^{[citation needed]}
