Incorrect title (stray period at the end of it). It was moved to the correct title Martian Congressional Republic one minute after creation by the creator, leaving this redirect behind. WP:CSD declined.

The reason this and the correct title redirect to different pages is that I refined the target for the correct title from a page that doesn't mention the term to one that does before noticing the existence of this redirect, and I didn't bother fixing the target of this redirect since it was obviously created accidentally. Implausible and unhelpful. Created initially as a stub article by a now blocked sock. CycloneYoris talk! 21:22, 4 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete What even is that trash? QuicoleJR (talk) 14:43, 5 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Possibly it should be a broad-concept article as was probably intended but otherwise delete as confusing as it targets a DAB without a primary topic. Crouch, Swale (talk) 16:29, 5 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect title could also be referring to Stellantis Poland or Fiat Ireland. Hey man im josh (talk) 18:48, 4 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment An IP recently changed the prose in the article to denote the company as "Stellantis Europe." Not sure why it just wasn't moved. I can't find any source to verify this but will keep looking. - Presidentman talk · contribs (Talkback) 20:34, 4 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Keep per A7V2. I've also found an independent source to verify the change, which I will add to the article. - Presidentman talk · contribs (Talkback) 14:36, 9 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - It seems as though the Italian branch has indeed been renamed (see [1], ctrl+F "formerly"). Whether the common name has changed is not a matter to be determined here, but given a lack of reporting about this name change as far as I can find, it probably hasn't. Forums and forms are not the same thing, though I understand the creator made the redirect with a misspelling in mind. Google Groups features forums and Google also has a Google Play community forum, Google cloud learning forum, and a support forum. Hey man im josh (talk) 18:26, 4 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This redirect is for an artist of substantial merit, Ric Heitzman, that deserves a page of their own. It is redirecting to a production that has many aspects, mostly unrelated to Heitzman and a project that was one of many projects of Heitzman. —Danorton (talk) 18:13, 4 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per WP:RFD#D10/WP:REDYES. A7V2 (talk) 01:03, 8 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Danorton and A7V2: Ric Heitzman did have an article of his own, which was deleted in 2020 because of no substantial coverage found. It was a soft delete, so if you are willing to expand on it, I can restore it to replace the redirect, or I can restore it to draftspace and this redirect can remain redlinked until the draft looks good. The result of the discussion was move without redirect to Emily Binx. I was the one that mass deleted Ladyoftrees's redirects. This is a good way to clean-up afterwards as well as resolve the {{R with history}}. -- Tavix (talk) 23:42, 13 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I find it strange this redirects to higher education. "Academic publication" redirects to Academic publishing so that's no good. Would the section "Scholarly articles" in Academic journal be a better target? If not, this may be better as a disambiguation page. :3 F4U (they/it) 02:42, 4 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment I created this redirect as part of a requested move. Before it was recently moved, the page was Talk:Zelle and its original target page was Talk:Zelle (disambiguation) until it was moved and its redirect target was changed. Mancession[edit]

The result of the discussion was soft redirect to Wiktionary:mancession. There's general agreement that there aren't any particularly good options to retarget this to in our mainspace. It's worth noting that the Wiktionary article has links to our articles Unemployment and 2007–2008 financial crisis. (non-admin closure) casualdejekyll 17:55, 17 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Mentioned in the target article and has a reference, but not in a way that adequately defines the term and thus may be WP:NEO. Per the target article, the best target for this redirect may be Great Recession (the target of redirect 2008–2012 global recession); however, this redirect is not currently mentioned in Great Recession. • Weak retarget to Great recession, alternative name used in multiple reliable sources ([2], [3], [4]). However, it can also be loosely applied to recessions that significantly affect men more than women ([5], etc.), hence a weak retarget. Edward-Woodrow :) [talk] 21:13, 6 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete unless mentioned at the target. A term like this seems likely to end up being applied to other recessions as well and could cause confusion if not addressed in the article. signed, Rosguill talk 05:18, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment: I still feel that this could be a common search term, and deletion feels wrong. How about a soft redirect to wiktionary? Edward-Woodrow :) [talk] 13:08, 19 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Wiktionary could be ok, although in this case I don't think that its plausibility as a search term really points us towards or away from any option; ultimately the problem is the lack of a suitable unambiguous target inside en.wiki, despite the presence of some relevant information. signed, Rosguill talk 20:05, 19 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

First-person adventure[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was restore. Jay 💬 05:16, 1 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not mentioned in target article. In addition, First-person adventure was formerly an article (See here) that was merged via nominated for WP:AFD in 2007 (Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/First-person adventure); per that revision, the subject of these redirects is "a hybrid genre of first person shooters and action-adventures", which neither represents the target section nor the target article at all. Steel1943 (talk) 15:41, 25 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment - Firstly, this is sort of mentioned in the target: "Some games will utilize a first-person or third-person perspective". I see no evidence that any merge took place, it would be in the history of Graphic adventure game (due to various moves). Further the merge was not the result of AfD, the closure of that was "no consensus" (Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/First-person adventure), but a later discussion which can be found on Talk:First-person adventure (which I just restored). So I think best to restore since there was no consensus to delete the original article, nor was a merge performed as discussed. A7V2 (talk) 04:26, 30 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
    Yeah, I can't read. Corrected. Steel1943 (talk) 23:11, 2 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Restore and send to AfD, I guess, since I have no refutation to A7V2's argument, even though I don't really like that process. IMO Zxcvbnm's proposed target has too little substance to warrant a redirect, with "adventure" being only mentioned once in passing there. * Pppery * it has begun... 16:45, 21 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - I think commenters above may be too used to defining "first person" in terms of first person shooter. See also First-person (video games). - jc37 19:04, 21 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
How is first-person in terms of "first person shooter" different than the general term for video games? "First person" in both cases refers to the fact that your viewpoint is the perspective of your character. :3 F4U (they/it) 05:33, 4 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Restore and send to AfD – the content may not be particularly-well sourced, but I see at least one usable source in the old article and it seems like it was just BLAR'd, not merged. In fact, the article was actually improved after the AfD (it was unsourced at the time of it closing), and I don't necessarily agree with the conclusion that two person talk page discussion came to that the majority of participants wouldn't be opposed to a redirect/merge.
