Weak delete Maybe the editors above should see where it was used before dismissing it as WP:BJAODN or proposing salt. I created this unencyclopedic image about a year ago only to provide a reply to a ref-desk question: Wikipedia:Reference desk/Archives/Humanities/2013 March 24#Population along highway routes. It could be useful should someone wish to search the archives for this or a related question, but I think it is unlikely to prove useful in the long term. Replaceable non-free image. We don't need to use non-free material to illustrate what a 200 years old folkloric character "looks like". • Keep - It's unreplaceable because all other images of Juan Bobo are also copyrighted. The nominator errs in pointing to the photo of this statue as a viable free alternative because that author states "(c) All rights reserved by hlurrutia" HERE. What the nominator needed to do to validate his argument was to point to a 70 year old drawing of Juan Bobo that has been released into the PD, or with a lapsed copyright. This image is sourced to http://www.crwflags.com/fotw/flags/us-nyrch.html , but I think a careful reading of that page indicates that they got the image from us. Note that their quoted description of the flag requests arched text, with the added parenthetical "Note the wiki image shows a straight line". I believe the "wiki image" in question to be File:Rochester NY city flag.png. The original source of that image is now a dead link from the City's web site, so its provenance is indeterminate. Possibly both images should be deleted, but at a minimum, the new one ("Flag of the City") is not credited to a valid source and shouldn't be kept. Powers ^T 18:47, 4 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
