The director of an off-broadway musical (mentioned in the first source), whose film career didn't work out (the film she directed, "kevin approaches", seems never to have materialized, and imdb only lists other projects "in development"): now she has a "dog grooming business", but the source is a press release, not a reliable independent source, despite the note "from the news desk" at the top. In general, I see lots of announcements and very little actual achievements, and little attention for her besides these regurgitated press releases about new films or plays. • Keep The first reference is to a book about the author Paul Bartel; the second is to an article in Variety. The WeHo News and its "News desk" have been used in a number of other articles as a reliable, independent source. Yes, a Google search will also turn up a lot of press releases, but that doesn't mean that the references given here do not make her notable. This article also completes a red link that was created in the article on the musical version of Eating Raoul in 2008 in this diff by Ssilvers. • The WeHo news desk may or may not have been used correctly in other articles; this "article"[1] though is a pure reprint of the press release made by or for Kotite.[2]. The "Variety" (and Screen Daily) article is pure routine coverage, a short announcement of something which never materialised. When a red link is about a non notable subject, simply unlinking it is the better solution, not creating the article anyway. Fram (talk) 09:33, 21 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. This person is a dog groomer who dabbled in directing in college and appears to have directed only one professional show. Never directed an important TV show or film that was released. This person is simply not a notable person under any of the WP notability guidelines. -- Ssilvers (talk) 17:08, 21 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete: Definitely fails the WP:GNG and WP:DIRECTOR. -- LACaliNYC 19:53, 23 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
What about #2., "The person has created or played a major role in co-creating a significant or well-known work or collective body of work. In addition, such work must have been the primary subject of an independent and notable work (for example, a book, film, or television series, but usually not a single episode of a television series) or of multiple independent periodical articles or reviews." for Eating Raoul? She played a major role (directing the musical) ? A loose noose (talk) 23:07, 24 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. Her sole claim to fame right now appears to be directing Eating Raoul, an off-Broadway musical that ran for six weeks, and garnered little coverage, all I could find being a brief negative review in the NYT and some coverage in the book Off-Broadway Musicals since 1919. The musical doesn't appear to merit more than a brief mention in the Eating Raoul article, so it's difficult to see how directing it could make Kotite notable. There seems to be no significant coverage of Kotite, just a few brief mentions of projects that were planned involving her ([3], [4], [5], [6], [7]), and more importantly she doesn't appear to have done anything yet to justify an encyclopedia article. --Michig (talk) 08:33, 28 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete seems WP:TOOSOON as a lot of unrealised/in production credits at present, could be notable in the future, regards Atlantic306 (talk) 18:38, 28 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
