Contested PROD. Concern was Article about a footballer who fails WP:GNG and who has not played in a fully pro league. PROD was contested by the articles creator on the basis that the Icelandic top flight is fully pro, an assertion contradicted by sources cited at WP:FPL. • Approve - I argues the WP:NFOOTBALL due to the small size of Iceland the Icelandic league will never become fully pro. Daði plays full time with a fully pro football team (FH Hafnarfjordur). We should not disclude full time footballers from smaller countries just based on rules that benefit mostly larger countries. • Comment - I was inching twords a delete, but on second thought this article looks like WP:TOOSOON if nothing else. However the article looks very well written and sourced. • Comment - Regarding the fail WP:NFOOTBALL, Cwmhiraeth he has played 10 games in a semi-pro adult league with team BÍ/Bolungarvík (see reference number 6). He has been the second goalkeeper in numerous games in a fully-pro team in the Icelandic top league. I agree with Inter&anthro that WP:TOOSOON might apply here. Since this article is not poorly written and i don't think we should delete it since the player is one of the most promising young goalkeepers of Iceland (plays with the most successful team FH and has played 13 youth games for the national team so far) and will soon fully fill the criteria's you are concerned about.
