Contested PROD. Concern was Article about a footballer who fails WP:GNG and who has not played in a fully pro league. PROD was contested on the grounds that he has "played in UEFA". I'm not really sure what this is supposed to mean, but none of his matches to date satisfy WP:NSPORT. Sir Sputnik (talk) 21:07, 20 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

RileyBugz^会話_投稿記録 00:39, 21 July 2017 (UTC) Keep - I think this should be kept because it seems to satisfy WP:NFOOTY, as the player has played in a UEFA match, which seems to fulfill the criterion that they play in a "competitive senior international match". Note the word "senior" in the text you've just quoted. Pilea has only ever played for Cyprus at the youth level, which WP:NFOOTY explicitly excludes: Youth players are not notable unless they satisfy one of the statements above, or if they can be shown to meet the wider requirements of WP:GNG.
