I and am a postgraduate researcher, graduate teaching assistant and administration asssitant at the University of York. My pronouns are she/her. I started editing in February 2019 at an event run by West Yorkshire Queer Stories. My training account is User:Lajmmoore Demo.

Round the world challenge[edit]
In 2024 I completed a Round-the-World Challenge to write an article about a woman from every country in the world. It was featured in:

Scholarships[edit]

- From 2021 to 2023 I was a member of the Grants:Regions/Northern and Western Europe Committee, which was my first experience in getting more involved with the work of WMF.

Paid work[edit]
Leeds 2023[edit]
This user, in accordance with the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use, discloses that she has been paid by Leeds 2023 for her contributions to Wikipedia.
- Between November 2023 to January 2024 I worked for Leeds 2023 to release images of the year of culture to Wikimedia Commons and undertook some limited paid editing on their behalf. See Wikipedia:GLAM/LEEDS 2023. Images were uploaded from an alt account User:Lajmmoore (L23 WIR). This project was funded by Wikimedia UK.
National Trust[edit]

Pilot 2[edit]
- The National Trust commissioned a second pilot and appointed me as Wikimedian in Residence on 14 September 2023, part-time for five months. We worked with volunteers at Bath Assembly Rooms and the Avebury Landscape. Keep up with the pilot at WP:GLAM/National Trust
Pilot 1[edit]
- In July and August 2022 I worked as a freelancer for a National Trust pilot project looking at Wikipedia; you can see an edit tracker here. This pilot was subsequently extended by 10 further days across September, October, November and December 2022. It ended in January 2023.
Wikimedia UK[edit]
- In February 2024 I worked as a freelance researcher and copy editor for Wikimedia UK, contributing to Changemaker's toolbox - introductory resources to campaigning and advocacy
- From April to June 2023 I worked as a freelance researcher for Wikimedia UK working on short-term project exploring barriers to participation for small-and-medium-sized cultural heritage organisations. The project was funded externally via a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund and the Young foundation. See: Heritage Innovation Fund Report, Lucy Moore, July 2023
Greenham Women Everywhere[edit]
- In February and March 2022 I worked as a freelancer for Greenham Women Everywhere, identifying Wikimedia opportunities and producing training resources for volunteers.
