This submarine is widely credited as being the first submarine detected and sunk using a hydrophone (see, e.g., here) with the date given as April 1916. FOARP (talk) 07:45, 27 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Since the source that claims it was sunk in May 1916 appears to be an online database administered by enthusiasts, and the sources saying April 1916 appear to be published works and eye-witness accounts, I'll go with April 1916. Of course, eye-witnesses and published works can sometimes be mistaken but it seems unlikely in this case. FOARP (talk) 08:27, 27 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
