Notability, prevalence of the term[edit]
I was surprised to see this article since I didn't recall hearing the term previously. A quick google search "advanced technology engine" didn't find much, just things like this 1979 conference proceeding, 1986 DoD acquisition study, and a 2014 NASA study of engine design for a specific tiltrotor project. I'm not sure that this term is in wide-enough use to justify this article, though that might just reflect my ignorance. Krb19 (talk) 14:41, 4 January 2024 (UTC)
Merge with Variable cycle engine[edit]
These two articles cover much the same subject, although contents are currently quite distinct. Better to have one with everything. Lfstevens (talk) 23:44, 19 May 2024 (UTC)
