- Indeed, this year, the event is once against titled "Salute to America". I think for right now, the article can easily be revised to refer to both, with 2020 being a section, which can be spliced out if the event turns out to be notable enough for a whole article? I guess information about the Rushmore speech could also go under there, potentially. HoboMcJoe (talk) 12:52, 4 July 2020 (UTC)

Past ?[edit]
I don't know what all those links are supposed to be about, but will offer a couple about the past ...
- Smithsonian The History of Military Parades in the U.S.
- MSN A look at the history of US military vehicles in Washington parades
- Mother Jones Actually, the US Has a Rich Tradition of Military Parades. But Normally They’re After Military Victories and Stuff. (e.g. Kennedy inauguration, 1991 Gulf War victory parade...)
- CBS How CBS News reported the last national military parade in 1991 (Learning Kennedy inauguration with 45-ton M60 tanks was OK, but the June 1991 pavement was rutted by the 60+ tons M1 Abrams) at the National Victory Celebration
- 7 Military parades

Completeness?[edit]
@RopeTricks and ViperSnake151: You two are among the top contributors. Do you have a sense of this article's completeness? Wondering if we might also submit a request for review by the Guild of Copy Editors. I'd submit a request myself, but I'm already at the max of 2 live requests, so I may need to wait or someone else may need to submit a request. I find these helpful before nominating for Good article status. ---Another Believer (Talk) 18:35, 11 July 2019 (UTC)
- I think the article's fairly complete, barring the total crowd size count (if that ever comes out) and the Total taxpayer cost of the event. The reactions section is large enough also, though more info could come in down the line regarding Congressional probes. The sources and citations largely seem credible, the grammar and prose are solid enough.RopeTricks (talk) 13:57, 12 July 2019 (UTC)
- RopeTricks, I've gone ahead and requested a copy edit by the Guild to keep things moving along. ---Another Believer (Talk) 23:15, 26 August 2019 (UTC)
- Alright! RopeTricks (talk) 23:45, 26 August 2019 (UTC)
- RopeTricks, The GOCE review is complete, so you might take a moment to review those changes. Thanks! ---Another Believer (Talk) 14:46, 17 September 2019 (UTC)
- I approve overall. Well done. RopeTricks (talk) 20:02, 17 September 2019 (UTC)

Any thoughts on bumping this up to B-class, or volunteers to nominate for Good article status? ---Another Believer (Talk) 00:40, 2 October 2019 (UTC)
