Borkhausenia Sennikov & Kurtto (2017), non. illeg., non Borckhausenia.

Scandosorbus is a genus of flowering plants in the rose family, Rosaceae. It includes two species of trees native to northern Europe.[1]

Both species are the result of hybridization. S. intermedia was derived from an ancient hybridization among Aria, Sorbus, and Torminalis. S. liljeforsii is more recently derived from S. intermedia × Sorbus aucuparia.[2]

The genus was proposed to replace Borkhausenia Sennikov & Kurtto (2017), which is an illegitimate near-homonym. Borkhausenia was intended to describe all species from hybridization among Aria, Sorbus, and Torminalis.[2]
