Hotkan (Persian: حتكن, also Romanized as Ḩotkan)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Hotkan Rural District of the Central District of Zarand County, Kerman province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 281 in 93 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 238 people in 74 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 253 people in 87 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
