Summary

Description Foxhill House situated in Whiteknights Park, Earley near Reading was built in 1868 for his own use by Alfred Waterhouse (1830-1905). Waterhouse was the architect of many fine Victorian buildings including the Town Hall and Strangeways Prison in Manchester, the Natural History Museum and the National Liberal Club in London, Balliol College in Oxford, Caius College in Cambridge and the Metropole Hotel in Brighton.
