Hi, I would like to review the pending changes for a number of pages on my watchlist. I'm planning on using the tool for reverting vandalism and unwanted/unconstructive changes. Thanks for your time. 20 upper (talk) 07:56, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

 Comment: I updated some links in this request after the user was renamed from "20 upper" to "Wolverine XI". DanCherek (talk) 16:54, 2 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I fulfil the first five criteria for gaining pending changes reviewer rights. Further I have read the reviewing guidelines and in the recent past have been tackling edits by IP users that are not constructive to pages of which I am a significant author. I have been a consistent user for past two years as such. Gaining these rights will allow me to further my work on articles with Pending Changes Protection. I feel like I've been on Wikipedia long enough and I have gotten a feel for what the general rules are, so I think that I am ready for this position. Jackarrrr (talk) 01:54, 2 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I have a significant contribution history (over 1300 edits) and some experience in Recent Changes. I think this permission could help me contribute more constructively here. 14 novembre (talk) 18:20, 2 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

 Not done. You have had seven threads on your talk page about your editing over the last week alone, which does not give me confidence you understand policy well enough for this permission. — Ingenuity (talk • contribs) 20:09, 2 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Ingenuity Oh no. Of the 7 recent notices, the 2 speedy deletion notices were of redirects created in moving articles to draftspace. 1 was of an article I created, so nothing serious; 1 was a suggestion to run a tool, which I did, solving completely the problem. 1 was the notice that I was supposed to notify the page creator when moving to draftspace, which is not relevant here, 1 was an advice to not editing other users' pages even if appeared inappropriate; and the last 1 was a notice that 4 nominations for speedy deletion. So you can see, that, except maybe the last one, these "7 threads" are not a strong argument to prove I have not familiarity with the policy. Instead, the contrary may be proved by my numerous patrolling-related contributions. So I ask if you can kindly reconsider the request and provide a more clear evidence if you think it should be still declined. Thank you very much and kind regards 14 novembre (talk) 21:37, 2 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Do you not remember the ANI thread, only three weeks ago, where you were given a final warning for disruptive editing? Plus, you're still blocked for socking on itwiki, which you last did only a couple months ago. I'm not sure why you are trying to get permissions so fast - you've only been around for a couple months. Sorry, but I am not going to grant any permissions to you at this time. — Ingenuity (talk • contribs) 22:00, 2 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Ingenuity OK. I will try again later. Kind regards 14 novembre (talk) 10:10, 3 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
