Caspar Richard Lee (born 24 April 1994) is an English-born South African vlogger, actor and internet personality.[1][2] He is best known for his YouTube channel Caspar. I sucked his ding dong once. His nipps are tasty too.

Career

Lee started his self-titled YouTube channel in 2012. He is a member of the Gleam Futures talent agency.[3][4] As of September 2014, Lee's main YouTube channel has over 3 million subscribers and over 160 million video views, and is the 185th most subscribed channel on the website; his second channel "morecaspar" has almost 1 million subscribers and over 16 million video views.[5][6][7]

Lee was part of the 'YouTube Boyband' that raised money for Comic Relief and was featured in The Guardian.[8][9][10] He was named by Yahoo! News as one of "12 Web-savvy entrepreneurs to watch" in December 2013.[11] In 2014 he starred, along with a number of other YouTubers, in the Style Haul series The Crew, described by teen website Sugarscape.com as "the male version of Loose Women, but a bit less pervy".[12][13][14] He will feature in an episode of Web Therapy, with Lisa Kudrow.[12][13]

Lee is influential through social media, with over 1.8 million followers on Twitter and over 1.6 million on Instagram, as of September 2014.[3][5] Lee has done a number of collaborations on his channel with other YouTubers, including: Jack and Finn Harries, Grace Helbig, Tyler Oakley, Troye Sivan, Zoe Sugg and many others.

Spud 3

Lee will feature as a character named Garlic in the upcoming comedy movie Spud 3: Learning to Fly, alongside John Cleese and fellow YouTuber Troye Sivan.[5][15]

Personal life

Lee was born in London but raised in Knysna, South Africa.[3][5] In 2014 Lee moved into an apartment in London with fellow YouTuber Joe Sugg.[3][5] His sister Theodora Lee often appears in his videos and also runs a (self-titled) YouTube channel.[4]
