The 1905 Atlantic hurricane season was an ongoing event in the annual cycle of tropical cyclone formation. It officially began on June 1, 1905 and ended on November 30, 1905.

The 1906 season was very inactive. Of the 5 storms that formed, one became a hurricane. The season began late with a Tropical Storm hitting the Lesser Antilles on September 6. Another storm followed by passing northeast of the islands in the middle of the month. September saw a third storm form in the Northwest Caribbean, hitting the Yucatan Peninsula, and landfalling on the southern coast of Louisiana in the last week of the month. A tropical storm formed in the southwest Caribbean Sea and hit Haiti in early October. The storm went out to sea, reaching major hurricane strength east of Bermuda. The final storm formed in the Gulf of Mexico and hit Louisiana on October 9th.
