The 1902 Atlantic hurricane season was an ongoing event in the annual cycle of tropical cyclone formation. It officially began on June 1, 1902 and ended on November 30, 1902.

The 1902 season was a fairly quiet season, with 5 tropical storms, 3 of which became hurricanes. The season started early, with a tropical storm forming in the Western Caribbean on June 12. After passing Cuba it hit Apalachee Bay on the Florida Panhandle as a minimal tropical storm. The next storm, starting on June 21st, formed over Tabasco, Mexico. After moving offshore, it steadily strengthened to a 80 M.P.H. hurricane before hitting near Corpus Christi, Texas. After an almost 3 month break, the 3rd storm formed in the Tropical Atlantic. It moved westward, reached Category 2 strength, and recurved out to sea without hitting any land mass. The 4th storm had its origins over the Eastern Pacific in early October. After crossing the Isthmus of Tehuanapec, the storm rapidly strengthened to a Category 2 hurricane, but weakened to a Tropical Storm by the time it hit Pensacola, Florida on October 11th. The final storm formed offshore of the Dominican Republic on November 1st, and headed out to sea, safely passing Bermuda on the way and almost reaching hurricane strength.
