There is a free example of Lowry's work (File:Going to Work - L S Lowry.jpg) already available on Commons, therefore this file can be considered replaceable and does not meet the criteria for NFC. • Delete - there is no evidence this is an actual logo used for this initiative. If it were, then one would expect the official site to have it, and it does not. Pointing to a facebook page for a single use does not establish this as a logo, only that it is a promotional graphic. Hello Felix

Sam Hood is the photographer, dead since 1953. He photographed members of the 1952 touring Australian representative rugby league team. Shot came into PD in Australia in 2012 but due to URAA and the fact that WP's servers are in the US, you have a fear that the rights holders to Hood's works (which collection was sourced from the State Library of NSW) will bring an action in the US enforcing some right. Since the shot, as you say, isn't actually used on WP then I wonder how any rights holder would find it. But there lies the rub - since the shot isn't being used then I can hardly argue for the valid purpose of the file. So if it's to be deleted then so be it. Sticks66 03:42, 10 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

American copyright has been restored by the URAA in 1996, since Australian copyright did not expire until 2005. Used on the subject's page, who seems to be still alive by the information given there.
