Tom Filsinger[edit]
AfDs for this article:

Nonnotable individual who published a very small press game and a vanity autobiography also apparently self-published. Individual fails WP:BIO standards for inclusion. First time through deletion discussion (Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tom Filsinger) people just said he was notable and that his games were notable but gave no evidence of either. Article has not been fixed in the years since then, and we've tightened up our rules on notability so they are a lot less ambiguous and at someone's whim. - Delete – Sorry to say at this time, just not there yet. However, I was able to find more than 3 and less than 20 references either for Mr. Filsinger or his companies, as shown here [1], [2], [3]. In fact, one of the articles states that he is now working with Disney in bring about new Super Heroes. I believe, in the not to distant future, we will be reading about Mr. Filsinger here. Good luck to him. ShoesssS Talk 21:39, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. Could not find anything to justify inclusion; a lot of creative output, but not the type of interest that would justify inclusion under WP:BIO. He certainly does not pass WP:PROF. He has received some independent media coverage, as noted by ShoesssS, but from a small range of low to mid-profile media outlets. It is somewhat telling that the game he is best known for, Legends of Wrestling Card Game, returns zero hits on Goggle News. This game should not be confused with the video game Legends of Wrestling, which is plenty notable.--Eric Yurken (talk) 14:45, 16 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
