Fails WP:GNG, with most content sourced from the school itself. Elementary schools are very rarely considered standalone notable. “Community cornerstones” still need to prove GNG as well. Willsome429 (say hey or see my edits!) 16:35, 4 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Redirect to the historic district. What little notability there is here can adequately be covered in Brookfield Center Historic District (Brookfield, Connecticut). Note that there is nothing whatsoever in this article about the current school that is encyclopedic. It's purely promotional, self sourced trivia. Elementary schools are seldom notable and this one is no different. John from Idegon (talk) 09:06, 5 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. 3 of the 6 current sources on the page are from local news sources (Danbury Newstimes). 1 is from the Diocese that oversaw the school. Only 2 are from the school itself. I contest the fact that it is "promotional." The information provides the facts on the school and it's history in an unbiased way. Further, there is nothing to promote, as the school has been closed down. Notability requires only the existence of suitable independent, reliable sources, not their immediate presence or citation in an article. The school has been a quite literal institution in Brookfield, CT for over half a century which is being lost. I'm still working on gathering more information, including notable students, and more on the Ed Sullivan connection; it should therefore be kept. This page is no where near complete yet. BryantCR (talk) 20:27, 6 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • BryantCR - in the future, please use the Draft process to fully develop pages before they are published. I am still not seeing any coverage of the school that is not WP:MILL. Willsome429 (say hey or see my edits!) 21:44, 6 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - upon further digging, this school is not a contributing structure to the historic district, but rather simply lies within the boundaries of the historic district. There isn't any content to merge nor even a logical place to redirect. John from Idegon (talk) 10:25, 10 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep, unless Wilsome429 changes the deletion to draftify; then I will support draftify instead of delete.--Epiphyllumlover (talk) 04:49, 16 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Draftify, with no prejudice towards notability standards in the event it is submitted to AfC.--Epiphyllumlover (talk) 20:39, 16 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    • Epiphyllumlover, one would think an editor with 13 years experience shouldn't need to, but you really need to read the instructions linked in the box at the top right of this page. John from Idegon (talk) 06:00, 16 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    • I really hate to look like I’m caving, but since the creator admitted that the page is not fully developed, I can support draftifying. However, I still have serious concerns about the notability of the page and highly doubt that there is anything besides WP:MILL coverage of the school. Willsome429 (say hey or see my edits!) 14:12, 16 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    • I'd accept draftifying too, but unless some coverage in detail from out of town is forthcoming, it won't be coming back to mainspace. Nothing in the article, and nothing the article creator mentions above, are sufficient to show this school meets WP:NORG. It's a small, non secondary, private school, housed in a totally mundane school building. All the available sources point to reports from the local paper on events at the school. That's not the same thing as being about the school. Some perspective: We have +/- 20,000 articles on US high schools, public and private. We have less than 250 articles on lower level schools. Of those, more than half are notable only due to being located in a notable structure. So, do we really think this very nice, but very commonplace school is one of the 125 most important lower schools in the country? Sorry, BryantCR, this isn't Local wiki. It's importance to the community (which you have not demonstrated with reliable independent secondary sources) is irrelevant. Unless you can demonstrate this school has some importance to the world, you cannot demonstrate its notability. This simply isn't a notable subject. • Delete I don't believe the article can meet notability criteria. If the author can make a good case for notability with rs, I'd switch to Draftify.   // Timothy :: talk  14:35, 24 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep Status of sourcing is clear enough for now. While draftification would be only option other than keeping I still don't understand how the article cannot be improved with the sources available right now. desmay (talk) 10:51, 26 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete It takes a lot to show a sub-secondary school is notable, and we do not have that extraordinary level of sourcing here.John Pack Lambert (talk) 14:50, 29 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
