Image deletion[edit]

You seem to have misunderstood: if an image is somebody else's work, there is a rebuttable presumption that it is copyrighted, and that we can't use it here without committing a copyright violation. Contrary to some folks' misunderstanding, admitting that a work is someone else's property does not make it okay to use it, even if we acknowledge their name and give them full credit for it. Orange Mike | Talk 22:16, 21 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Chrysler Halcyon has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Cited sources mostly appear to be parroting the official announcement, article is mostly written by one editor and reads like an advertisement

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Here's my reason link. Please next time think carefully and wisely because I may change something in the future that will fix all problems that Wikipedia does not allow in the article; you can't predict the future. ⚒️MinecraftPlayer321⚒️ Let's Chat! 22:10, 22 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, MinecraftPlayer321,

For some reason, you tagged this AFD page for speedy deletion which caused all kinds of problems because AFD pages are transcluded to the main daily AFD log. Please do not tag a project/Wikipedia page for deletion unless vandalism is involved. If you have questions about different kinds of deletion, please bring them to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! March 2024[edit]

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
Drmies (talk) 00:44, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You know exactly why you are blocked: keep in mind I could have blocked you indefinitely. If this happens again, that's likely what will happen. In this two-week period, please reconsider what we do here and what collaborative editing means--and perhaps you can also simplify your signature a bit. Drmies (talk) 00:45, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

That's not me. Those are others. I do not use IP Account please. ⚒️MinecraftPlayer321⚒️ | 💬 00:51, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Those are NOT my alternative accounts. I do not edit without using MY own account. I do not know those people who are repeatedly editing in the AfD, but I know it wasn't me. I ALWAYS edit with my account- never with IP address accounts. ⚒️MinecraftPlayer321⚒️ 💬 00:56, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If another person was using your device or account, then this account is WP:COMPROMISED and will not be unblocked. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 02:59, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

In another case, I do collaborate in editing, as I usually help people in the Help Page. ⚒️MinecraftPlayer321⚒️ | 💬 01:00, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Well, it's a CU block. If the next CU finds that I was right, perhaps your block should simply be made indefinite. Or you rethink this line of argument. Drmies (talk) 01:00, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I am sorry, but I think another person was using my device or account, because I leave my device unattended. ⚒️MinecraftPlayer321⚒️ | 💬 01:02, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
In myself, I hereby understand Wikipedia's rules and guidelines and I know what's going to happen if I get blocked. I never disrespect or vandalize that much of Wikipedia. ⚒️MinecraftPlayer321⚒️ | 💬 01:04, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

That wasn't me and I am not sure who did it. I am not trying to be offensive or pretending; I am a smart middle-schooler coder who is trying to contribute with Wikipedia by helping out by helping, adding articles, discussing, editing, and more, but I am not trying to hurt people. If I did that, wouldn't that be in my user contributions? I only edit with my account, nothing else, and that's meaning IP Address. The only access to Wikipedia is my personal computer, that's all. No phone or tablet, and that's why there are two IP addresses that are different. Since I have an account, I don't have an account. Yes, my parents don't let me use anything other than my computer. Now, do you trust me in helping you guys or what just stay here for eternity? ⚒️MinecraftPlayer321⚒️ 💬 03:13, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Declining due to personal attacks and legal threats and the fact that this account is compromised. If you're trying to tick off all the boxes, you succeeded. Your signature also has introduced some formatting issues. 331dot (talk) 09:39, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Trying to admit what I said is the truth. I should get forgiveness from these stubborn administrators who know nothing but teasing young students and saying nonsense and perhaps I should get a reward or privilege or sue them. ⚒️MinecraftPlayer321⚒️ | 💬 03:26, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This is crazy. Adult people trying to block a young guy. So ridiculous behaviour. ⚒️MinecraftPlayer321⚒️ 💬 03:18, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@331dot: I don't think the account is compromised. Well, not the device, either. I think appellant took a scatter-gun approach to shifting blame, and got hit by the ricochets. Sometimes "young guys" are not so clever as they think. They forget we were young once, too. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 12:09, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You're probably right; I just hope this user begins to take things seriously, because we are. 331dot (talk) 13:50, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Look, if you give a second chance and if you can monitor me, you can see I won't do it again. I am telling the truth, and if you don't trust me, how can I explain more to you? I am a good editor, I will never do it. I AM a young middle-schooler, not just pretending. I'm nearly going to high school. And if you DON'T believe me, why would a adult chose a basic, dumb username? If you want me to edit, please just let me edit. I know you guys get blocked too sometimes, right? If you could feel my emotions, you have to help. You know my parents only give me my personal computer to use at home and at school, and I somehow left my computer there accidentally on top of my desk. I will NEVER do that again if that violating some of the rules and guidelines you have. Again, please let me edit. ⚒️MinecraftPlayer321⚒️

This account will not be unblocked. No further unblock requests will be considered. Do not make any more unblock requests. Yamla (talk) 16:53, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Also, I was using Wikipedia at school that day I left them, and someone look at my shoulder to see what I was doing typing so fast on the Afd. So I guess he searched that up and just randomly edited it, and I know it wasn't me, which caused the IP thing. ⚒️MinecraftPlayer321⚒️ | 💬 16:30, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This is not consistent with what you wrote previously. Seriously, your story keeps changing. You also need to apologize for the personal attacks and withdraw the legal threat. As you are in middle school, and in light of the preceding festivities, I don't believe you have the maturity to edit here. @Drmies: Without going into details, is that plausible in light of your findings? Or do I revoke TPA? And indef? -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 16:40, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
User:Deepfriedokra, I found nothing inconsistent with what I indicated. No evidence whatsoever of any shenanigans other than what was signaled for the AfD. We're wasting our time; if you want to indef the user, that's fine with me: I gave them a temporary block so they could come to their senses, but it doesn't seem to work. Drmies (talk) 16:49, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think the kindest thing would be to revoke talk page access for the duration of the block to prevent this user from digging their hole even deeper. However, frankly, I'm in favour of an indefinite block given all of the above. --Yamla (talk) 16:57, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, MinecraftPlayer321. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Corn Beef Factory".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 19:10, 17 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
