"Template:Public domain" is a really bad name for this concept. Lots of images have {{public domain}}, which should be the same as {{PD}}. All the user pages that use this template should be updated to use Template:MultiLicensePD, then this should be made a redirect to Template:PD. dbenbenn | talk 22:09, 23 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I moved and changed redirects to {{Public domain release}} and changed all userpage transclutions to refeer to the new name. Once the job que has done it's thing we can go though Category:Images previously tagged with the userpage template PublicDomain to check on the images that where using this tag, and then redirect it to the {{PD}} tag. --Sherool (talk) 16:36, 24 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
