Article is long enough, and was expanded recently enough. Article is interesting and well written, and well cited- it's too bad there is no electronic copy of the first citation, but it does seem legitimate. DYK fact is cited in line. Hook is interesting and appropriate. Author should add a (pictured) note in the hook. One comment on the text of the article itself: the quote attributed to Frizzell in the Life and Education section reads awkwardly due to use of "I" in the quote... - Yes, the magazine Art NZ is not online; I had to visit a library to add info to the article. I'm happy with adding "pictured" even though the illustration is one of the two species in the genus. Technically, yes, you'd need to show all the species in a genus to "picture" it, but the annotation is really just drawing our attention to the illustration. –Giantflightlessbirds (talk) 20:03, 24 October 2018 (UTC)
