In Greek mythology, Megapenthes (/ˌmɛɡəˈpɛnˌθiːz/; Ancient Greek: Μεγαπένθης Megapénthēs means "great sorrow") is a name that refers to two characters:

• Megapenthes, a son of Proetus.^[1]
• Megapenthes, a son of Menelaus.^[2]
