• Guang Ming Daily (光明日報) - Georgetown (the state capital of Penang Island)'s largest and number one Penangite Chinese-language oldest daily newspaper for Penangite Chinese community was officially very first established and first published based in Georgetown (the state capital of Penang Island) as Sin Pin Jit Poh (星檳日報) on 15 January 1939 (January 15, 1939; 85 years ago (1939-01-15)).
• Kwong Wat Yit Poh (光華日報) - Georgetown (the state capital of Penang Island)-based Penangite Chinese-language oldest daily newspaper for Penangite Chinese community was officially very first established and first published based in Georgetown (the state capital of Penang Island) as Kwong Wat Yit Poh (光華日報) on 20 December 1910 (December 20, 1910; 113 years ago (1910-12-20)).
• Nanyang Siang Pau (南洋商報) - Peninsular Malaysia (including Johor Bahru and Johor Bahru District)'s largest and number one nationwide Malaysian Mandarin-language oldest daily newspaper for Malaysian Chinese community was officially very first established and first published based in Singapore as Nanyang Siang Pau (南洋商報) on 6 September 1923 (September 6, 1923; 100 years ago (1923-09-06)).

• Shin Min Daily News – Malaysia's first Chinese-language tabloid newspaper; publication ceased in 1994
• Sunday Mail – replaced by the Weekend Mail
• Tamil Nesan (தமிழ் நேசன்) – ceased publication on 1 February 2019
• Weekend Mail – successor of the Sunday Mail, but was indefinitely suspended in 2006
• Utusan Melayu (Jawi script) – now a weekly newspaper and incorporating with Utusan Malaysia, ceased publication on 10 October 2019
