English: The picture displays the green scenery of Gundu VDC, located in the southern part of Bhaktapur district, Nepal, and 3 km away from the district. The VDC has both urban and remote atmosphere because it lies in the ghetto of the Kathmandu valley. It looks as if it is a small valley inside the Kathmandu valley. The three sides, namely: north, east and south, are covered with green hills. The clear view of the Kathmandu valley can be observed from here. The sunrise form the middle of the Suryabinayak hill and white mountains of the north reflecting golden color after the sunrise lure every nature lover who will be present here in the early morning. |
